New to Maggie?

Maggie United Methodist Church has a long standing tradition of hospitality and friendliness. We welcome all visitors with open arms and encourage you to keep in touch even if you’re only here for a few days or months.

While we believe that every day is a day to worship God, we gather once a week to worship and fellowship with others.

  • Early Worship 8:30 a.m. (1st Sunday in June-Last Sunday in Sept)
  • Late Worship 11:00 a.m.

What to Expect

Our worship services draw upon the tradition of the United Methodist Church, but with the personality of a mountain family church. We sing hymns from our traditional book of worship, but also enjoy praising God with ancient songs of worship as well as more modern songs. We follow an “order of worship,” so most of our services will follow a similar sequence.

What to Wear

While you’re welcome to come in your Sunday finest, it’s definitely not necessary. Jeans and a T-shirt are perfectly fine. We don’t care how you look, but we want you to feel comfortable worshiping God!

Is There a Place for my Children?

We offer Children’s Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. (adult classes go on at the same time). Children’s classes meet in the children’s wing off the fellowhip hall. From the parking lot, enter up the steps through the single door.

We also offer an infant through toddler nursery until 12:15 p.m. for children infant through 3yrs. The nursery is located in the Children’s wing. It is the first room on the right when entering from the parking lot, or the last room on the left if coming from inside the church.

Older children are welcome to worship with their parents.

How Will I Know Where to Go?

There are helpful greeters at each of the main doors to our sanctuary. If you’re not sure where to go, just ask the first person you see and they’ll point you in the right direction. You can also view a map of our church facilities to get a general idea of where things are.

Connect with Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to get to know others in the church and to grow spiritually. There are several small groups that meet throughout the week at Maggie UMC. We’re sure you’ll find one that fits you!
