When We Meet
- Youth group for age 11-12th graders meet Sundays at 5pm. Find out more about Maggie UMC Youth.
- Confirmation class meets at the direction of the pastor (call the church office for more information)
Upcoming Events
- Winter Fundraiser (beginning Nov. 2): We will be selling Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate from UMCOR Coffee Project to raise money for the youth group.
- Need youth and parents to be present at the table in the church lobby following the worship service to talk to people and sell items.
- Download an order form if you would like to sell to people away from the church (money can be taken before or after).
- West Virginia Mission - December 12-13. Need helpers for the Christmas party. If you would like to go, please contact Brenda Griswold (griswoldjb@bellsouth.net 452-9071). This will not be an “official” youth trip, but youth are invited to help.
- District Youth Gathering - Jan. 11, 4:45-8:00 p.m. at Maggie Valley United Methodist Church. We are the hosts this time and will need some youth and parents to help in planning our time together with other other Methodist Churches in our area. Our wonderful United Methodist Women will be providing the meal.Let Barby or Jake know if you’d like to help.

- Attention Teen & College-Age Ladies - Revolve Tour is coming to Greensboro in January 2009. The cost is $64 plus cost of a hotel room & food. The event features live concerts workshops, and nationally know speakers. If you are interested in going to the Revolve tour, please let Barby know by Nov. 1. More info at:

- Fall/Winter Service Projects: Raking leaves, shovel snow, etc. one Sat. each month. Sign up in the youth room. Call Barby or Jake if you have work that needs to be done.
