Relay For Life
Relay For Life – We are looking for a chairperson for the Maggie Valley UMC Moonlighter Team for the Relay For Life, which is held in May. This is a great mission for our church. In 2008 we donated over $2000 and in 2009 over $2800! Many of our families have someone fighting cancer or someone who is a survivor. Please call the church office (926-8036.)

Operation Christmas Child and Project AGAPE
We will share the Spirit of Christmas with Project AGAPE (NC’s United Methodist ministry in Armenia) and Samaritan’s Purse in 2009. The North Carolina United Methodist ministry in Armenia supports two children’s homes with shoebox gifts. The boxes for project AGAPE are due in October and the ones for Samaritan’s Purse in November. Will you please add sippy cups, baby rattle, bib or baby blanket to one of your shopping lists this month? Items may be left at the Church office anytime. Thank you!
Life Line Screening
Life Line Screening will be held here at MVUMC on Thursday, March 5th. Stroke, Vascular Disease, Heart
Rhythm and Osteoporosis screenings will be offered.
