At Halloween we host a Trunk or Treat for our valley’s children, usually the Thursday before Halloween. We always need volunteers to help serve dinner, distribute candy from the back of their car or truck or help with indoor games. Last year, over 300 wonderfully dressed children and parents/grandparents joined us!
During our Trunk or Treat event, adults prepare and serve a meal in the Fellowship Hall, set up and help with all sorts of indoor games, cake-walk and bingo, apply tattoos, paint fingernails and decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and come sit in a parking lot for kids to “trick or treat” from car-to-car.
Kids come fully dressed in Halloween costumes holding out bags or plastic pumpkins for treats. The adults get to socialize and be creative while seeing all the children in costumes. Come and be a part of this fun event!
