Steve Mehaffey is our Shepherds Table Director. Steve is a Maggie Valley native and has many years of experience! He schedules volunteers, organizes for, shops for and prepares the weekly meals delivered to many in our area.

Hi. I’m a 63 year old woman recovering from a head trauma that has greatly reduced many former capacities. Also, for the first time in decades, I’m living alone with my cat and have really been struggling with a sense of purpose! I would very much like to do some kind of volunteer work and would appreciate learning more about what kinds of needs y’all have for a woman like me and if I could qualify for some type of volunteer work. I’m rather good at art, poetry, cooking, animal care and have a background in medicine. TIA!

We have many opportunities for volunteering in the Maggie Valley Community. Right now, we are developing a new ministry in partnership with the Haywood Pathways Holy Cow Food Truck. The two people to speak with are Clay Wagner and Clarell Litchford. You can meet both of those individuals any Sunday at our Worship Service at 10:30am. Please plan to come!
