At Halloween we host a Trunk or Treat for our valley’s children, usually the Thursday before Halloween. We always need volunteers to help serve dinner, distribute candy from the back of their car or truck or help with indoor games. Last year, over 300 wonderfully dressed children and parents/grandparents joined us!
During our Trunk or Treat event, adults prepare and serve a meal in the Fellowship Hall, set up and help with all sorts of indoor games, cake-walk and bingo, apply tattoos, paint fingernails and decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and come sit in a parking lot for kids to “trick or treat” from car-to-car.
Kids come fully dressed in Halloween costumes holding out bags or plastic pumpkins for treats. The adults get to socialize and be creative while seeing all the children in costumes. Come and be a part of this fun event!
Every year we host an annual Easter Egg Hunt in the beautiful Todd and Ruth Henry Park behind the Church. Children enjoy the Easter celebration by hunting eggs outside in a safe Christian environment. This year’s hunt will be on Saturday, April 11th at 12noon. Come early and stay after the hunt for lunch and party! Everyone in the community is invited to join us!
We cherish children and we love to see them in our Worship Services. After the Children’s Time in Worship, the youngest children join with each other and two loving teachers to share a snack, read a story, and create a craft for about 30 minutes.
We provide a loving Nursery for children aged infant to three years old, each Sunday morning from 10am to 12:15pm. Children are always welcome in our Worship Services! The Nursery is available for the entire time during Sunday School and Worship or you may bring a child or children to the Nursery after Children’s Time. Two caregivers are present each week.
