The Missions at Maggie Valley United Methodist Church always need more helpers! If you can welcome guests, cook a meal, take out trash, clean up a room, wash dishes, organize food, pack a shoebox or have any other talents or gifts you’d like to share, come join us! We will help you find a way to serve within your ability and comfort level. Contact the Pastor or the church office (828-926-8036) for more information.
Each September, we send Christmas shoeboxes to impoverished children in the eastern European area of Armenia, some of our most desperate Christian brothers and sisters. Project AGAPE is a collaborative effort of North Carolina United Methodists with the Armenian Apostolic Church. You may make donations of items to help fill the boxes in the Church foyer anytime. Please make plans to come to the Fellowship Hall and pack a shoebox on September 20th 2020 between the Worship Services!
